I have an amazing pit cross, whom I adopted as a puppy. I was so terrified that I would have one of "those" dogs that I spent six months in training with her. This is what I learned: pits love to play and they play rough, more like a boxer than a lab or retriever; pits aim to please, which is why they are often taken advantage of; pits are very intelligent dogs and cannot be left to their own devices. They are not intrinsically bad, but they need a lot of attention and they take a long time to mature (2 to 3 years).
My dog is a star and I take a lot of pride in being a good pit bull owner, we are ambassadors for the breed. Also, there are programs for dog owners, canine good citizen for example, which dog and handler preform to test the dog's training.
It breaks my heart to know that there are people who mistreat their animals. But, people also mistreat one another. There are good pits and good pit bull owners. Education all around is in order.

I believe a horse with wings is a pegasus—it is in our imaginations where we combine our favorite creatures. Thusly we are endowed with the a new generation of pegacorn unisus, the octacorn unapus (octopus unicorn), and the unagon dragcorn (unicorn dragon).

My favorite thing about this post is the misspelling in the image, "Cheat Hear." Or maybe it is an auditory cheat? as opposed to an actual place to cheat…
