Apologies if this posts twice - got a server reset the first time.
#2: I don't think the Italian immigrants made it as far west as Boise, Ohio, so it's not surprising that they didn't know that pizze is the plural of pizza.

#2 Jeff: While the free vs. not free debate is important, your analogy to tap vs. bottled water isn't that great.
First, tap water isn't free if you pay your city for water service.
Second, depending on where you live, tap water is of lesser quality than bottled, even if this is a perceived quality influenced heavily by marketing.
Third, your tap doesn't dispense plastic bottles, and it doesn't keep your water cold for you until the moment you need it, like a bottle sitting in a vendor's refrigerator does. Tap and bottled are different products.
That's the problem with digital music distribution; a song purchased and a song shared or pirated are exactly the same.
That said, I agree with #3. I don't want to be a criminal because I have a shared folder on my hard drive.

Never seen <4 before, but I have heard of 31336 (or 1336) used to describe someone who isn't quite "leet".
Roomba, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?

@Icky2000: Maybe your cats are just a bunch of, well, pussies.
Seriously, Roombas do make a fair bit of noise, but it doesn't have the jet engine type sound that most uprights have. I know several Roomba/cat owners and they (the cats) seem to get used to it. In fact, one of the more fun things to do with a Roomba is to use its remote control to "chase" the cats around.
(Roombas are much slower than cats; they usually have enough time to lie and observe from a distance while still being chased.)
For added fun/feline sensory overload, use your Roomba in conjunction with a laser pointer.
OpenRoad.tv and Pesco visit the Musée Mécanique

For those who haven't been, and are planning to be a tourist in S.F. sometime soon, the Mechanical Museum is a must. Its new location at Fisherman's Wharf makes it very accessible for those doing other "touristy" things in the area.
@ Bonnie: Great pics! Unfortunately, my favorite exhibit is missing from your photoset: the baseball game with the mechanical pitcher, "bat", and umpire that calls balls and strikes by lifting his left or right arm.
I'll search through my photos and see what I can upload to flickr.

Those wacky Japanese! They pixelated her labia, even though it's a cut-away elevation view that's reasonably accurate anatomically.
Of course, the rest of her reproductive organs remain uncensored. Definitely hentai.

Seriously? No comments?
I haven't met Dan, but if I do in the future, I will shake his hand. I also recommend that anyone who visits S.F. skip some of the mroe touristy attractions and hits up the mechanical museum.
My favorite is the baseball game that keeps track of balls, strikes, outs, and runs with marbles that are used during gameplay. Way fun.
