Rubbing estrogen on penis-tip prevents HIV transmission?
June 6, 2008 4:57am
Circumcision it's not that bad, you guys. I'm not, but my boyfriend is, and I assure you he has a lot of pleasure in sex.
Apart, I think the jews law about having to get your prepuce off, it's got to do with hygiene. Sometimes people don't like to think for themselves, so an order it's a quick way to "help".
And when you live in a friggin' desert, and there's not much water available to clean yourself, all the water you can save will be useful later. And a cut dick is easier to keep clean, enabling yourself to fend off some infections.
Dinotopia artist sketches Jehovah's Witnesses who come to his door
June 3, 2008 2:32pm
The guy in the pic above... it's my eyes or does he look as Steve Urkel? You know, the nerdy guy from Family matters?
Los Simpson: live action Marge and Homer
May 29, 2008 2:13pm
I remember this sketch. In fact, i used to see every episode of this series. It was based in absurd humour sketches, and they had some pretty good film parodies, including Cape fear, Matrix, Lord of the rings, and many more.
They're now separated as a duo, and, anyway, i stopped viewing their tv program since they changed it to fridays - there's no friday i won't be going out with my friends.
London supermarket secretly photographs alcohol/cigarette buyers, wants national database
May 14, 2008 6:42am
I just have an offtopic question. It's about the national ID issue.
Why is it so bad? Here in Spain we've to got a NID as long as we're older than 16. And it's been that way for a long time. As far as I know, my parents have been using them since they were young!
Great tits cope well with warming
May 9, 2008 6:12pm
Jesse, the surprising thing isn't the article itself, but the headline. Tits, apart from being birds, is the most common name for women breasts. You know, boobs.
University Logo Carved Onto Human Hair with Focused Ion Beam

The ions will be going straight from where you send them, then it won't have curvature.
Discworld "Luggage" prop on eBay for Alzheimer's
March 16, 2008 2:32am
They don't mention Twoflower race in the books. We assumed Twoflower was asian because of the affinity of the Agatean empire to China, but similar politics or history doesn't mean that they're all that equal.
Discworld "Luggage" prop on eBay for Alzheimer's

Wish I could have the money to buy this. And the house where to lodge it. I'd love to have it in my dirty, dirty hands.
DVD Jon launches doubleTwist -- move music without DRM hassles
February 19, 2008 4:12am
I bought a pair of cds via iTunes, and I'm not doing it anymore, because I like to share my music.
I've bought about 200 old-school cds, and I've all of them (well, all of the discs that fit in my laptop hard disk) ripped to a good quality MP3, being able to send them to my friends if I like and all that.
First/Worst: Online Nickname?
February 17, 2008 3:29pm
The first was the worst, too. Kombatter. I did like Mortal Kombat a lot back then.
The nicks I liked the most were The_Nomad, DemonKing and this one I'm using.
Jesus hit by lightning
February 14, 2008 2:37pm
#10 - Thor vs Jesus? That combat has no real emotion. I mean, Jesus was defeated being nailed to a cross. And Thor happens to have a BIG MAGIC HAMMER.
Hammer? Nails? Anyone else fail to see the correlation?
Aubrey De Grey on Colbert Report
February 12, 2008 3:31pm
The main problem with the world it's precisely the lack of 'ageing'.
With so many born, and so few dying (of old age, for example), the world is growing more overpopulated day by day.
And I don't say it because I'm young and I want them oldies to sleep with the worms. Although I'm 26yo, my father is 80 and I don't want him to die.
But sometimes you've to say the truth.
Religious police in Saudi Arabia ban "red items" as part of Valentine's Day crackdown
February 11, 2008 3:46pm
Funniest thing about it: As in the 'free world' we don't stop saying things in the lines of 'It's just another holiday made up by the big companies and malls', these guys are risking their freedom just to cellebrate capitalist love!
I'm not looking forward for Valentine's day, really. I go out to a romantic dinner with my bf every week. And when I see something he could like, I buy it for him without waiting for a holiday. And I know he does the same for me, too.
Eco Button: Save Energy By Buying Something Unnecessary
February 4, 2008 6:41am
I think it's something like buying Che Guevara's prints and merchandising, being Che the communist he was, and being against capitalism (yeah kids, the same thing that make you able to buy those prints).
It's called the irony of life. Or something like that.
Board/card games made from video games -- cataloguing the unfun spawn of twitch games
January 30, 2008 8:06am
There is one thing worst than board games based on videogames. It's called 'Board games based on tv shows'.
I mean... what's the thrill in playing 'Deal or no deal' at home?
'Now, I'm offering you ZERO dollars for your box. Remember that you may have zero dollars in it, so be careful with your choice...'
I'm Glad My Pops Bought an iMac
January 19, 2008 10:44am
I want to buy an iMac and give the macbook i'm now writing on to my 80yo father... let's see how quick i can get the money.
Brooklyn Bridge to get a waterfall
January 19, 2008 8:55am
I didn't read the article really, only the short version in here, so that's my fault if I spoke too quick.
Now it doesn't look so bad.
Brooklyn Bridge to get a waterfall
January 19, 2008 5:26am
Sorry, but I can't understand this kind of 'art'.
OK, it looks good. Not good, it looks great in fact, but... aren't we talking of the lack of energy sources?
Even if the water gets pumped from the same river it falls on, there's a lot of energy wasted in pumping it, something we, as a species, can't afford.
Yahoo Music to record execs: No more DRM, ever
October 9, 2007 8:11am
To #7: The context-free rant, as i understand it, means the following: When you buy a physical CD, there's something called (surprise) BOOKLET. In it you can find from lyrics to all kind of information (i.e.: who was the drummer?)
When you buy something in iTunes, for example (and I've bought there), you don't have any of that information. You have to fire up your browser and search for it on the Internet.
It's not only something bad for the customers, but for the graphic design industry (and for the arts too, in a way). Personally I love to open new CDs and to browse through the booklets, reading the lyrics, appreciating the design hours put into it... I mean: The first Demons & Wizards album has a truly OUTSTANDING booklet. If you buy it through iTunes or Amazon, you've lost it. Really.
Another question: Why some of the art on iTunes is so badly scanned, with blank borders and so on? Haven't they the original art?
No friends yet.

Just a comment: he didn't create them. It's a real trading card collection from the eighties. He had it and he thought it would be a good idea to share them.
In the first post (november 2005), it says "Hola a todos, este es el gato unicornio, el primero de una colección de cromos q casi completé a finales de los 80.
Poco a poco iré subiendo el resto...".
It's translated "Hi y'all, this is the unicorn cat, the first of a trading card collection i almost completed at the end of the 80s".
