I dunno. I used to babysit my nephew who would not sleep unless you were touching him. So after a while I realized I could just put a pillow on his back and he was good for the night. I realize that he could have been trained to sleep without the touch but he wasn't my kid and he has since outgrown this. the hand part is creepy but the concept is sound.

A meter tall? I think I had a grandmother in law that was that tall. Looked kind of like the drawings of them too. :)

I know that the tri-colored headlights would work. Our local science museum had that concept as part of a color and light display. the funky part is that it would cast interesting shadows around an object of the 3 colors plus mixes of any 2 because their points of origin would be slightly offset.
