TSA: X-ray of MacBook Air may be "sensitive security information"
March 21, 2008 9:04am
Maybe the lack of characterizing features (SS drive with no platter) that most laptops have as well as that big flat battery on the bottom raised suspicions. Still silly.
I alway leave my Mac on sleep when I send it though the xray so the TSA doesn't have to stretch their mind to turn it on (just open the lid) and their time to wait for it to boot and shut down.
Online movement for autistics' rights

The claim/message is that autism is a different way of thinking (to some extent). It also has somewhat of a defensive tone regarding the way "normal" people see people with autism. While this is well founded response to the way society sees autism, it also reveals what someone else was mentioning the classic lack of empathy for others aspect of autism.
The "normal" person view of autistic people is based off the fact that people like her need help taking a shower and cooking a meal.

As with all physical systems that we know of, the maximum amount of energy we can get out is equal to the amount originally put in. My guess is when the device "syncs up" is the moment when the battery pack is turned on. When you have acceleration like that in a system you need some sort of external energy.

So its my understanding that perpetual motion using interactions between small magnets has been shown to be impossible? My question is what kind of shenanigans is this guy using to get the center wheel to spin so fast?

I don't want to sound like an idiot but what kind of institutions are they referring to?

Reminds me of when google decided to turn off their video service. People think I am crazy when I tell them that their itunes store music won't play in 10 years.
