GRADED: The Worst '10 Worst Consoles' List of All Time

June 3, 2008 1:32am

The last sentence of the Virtual Boy section reads: "Just wall mount that piece add a quarter slot to it...".

Prior to the comma added in the markup after "piece", there should also be inserted "of shit". I'm sure Ryan's upset that he left that one out.

BrickBuildr: special selection of AFOL LEGO creations

April 27, 2008 5:28pm

He's selected only certain groups from within Flickr that feature AFOL creations instead of simple just every photo tagged with LEGO.
Except for about 900 photos starting at (the current) page 5 of people at some Atlanta Lego conference.

Don't get me wrong, there's some can't-miss photos in that block:

Marseille Figs: uptempo pop from a "small big band" -- Violent Femmes meets Tom Waits meets Squirrel Nut Zippers

Listening to the preview for Caesar's Revenge, it does sound like iTunes just flipped the wrong bit when entering the metadata.

Huzzah! Off to buy!   : )

Both the Amazon MP3 Store and iTunes have the album.

I prefer iTunes' AAC format when it's available DRM-free (which this album is), but iTunes has the "clean" version (which I don't want) and Amazon's isn't. D'oh! Who makes these decisions?

It's $25.00 at Urban Outfitters. I have a hard time believing that the controller has an internal hard drive.

Agreed about Best Buy. Getting the Groundhog Day DVD in 2004 resulted in at least 18" of paper.

At least it was all useful information.

@anon #14: "Want an other example? If someone hadn't hacked the "itune+ipod" combo to get it to work without DRM, majors would probably not be dropping DRM right now."

I don't know what revisionist history you've been smoking, but the iTunes+iPod combo was DRM-free from day one -- no hacking required.

Plain old mp3, aac, aiff and wav until the iTunes store came around, and that just added protected aac to the list of existing formats.

She commented on how she did here: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20053504,00.html?xid=rss-topheadlines
According to the article, it sounds like she's sticking to the random-collection-of-short-statements form.

"everything did come at me at once." "I was overwhelmed" "I made a mistake" "I'm human" "I was in complete shock" "I drew a blank" "I misunderstood".
