Ok i am confused, so forgive me for being ignorant but i have to ask. What does this have to do with Linux? From what i can gather the events took place at Linux conventions, is that right? So the title of this article is implying that because most people wouldn't be ok participating in the "open-boob project" they also would not understand/like Linux.

I don't doubt, or in any way condone/support China's suppression of Tibet, but it seems like protesting the Olympics now won't do much good. At this point i think there is a .01% chance of the games being canceled, or seriously altered due the protests. If protesters had raised this much awareness soon after China was awarded the games I think it would have more likely changed the situation. I know people were protesting when China was awarded the Olympics but there is no denying it is getting much more coverage now than it did however many years ago. Again, I don't want to seem like i am against the protests, and i know the protests are doing good as far as raising awareness about Tibet's situation, but as far as attacking torch bearers, i don't see how that will help.

I know it showed in the video that the man had been able to place the horizontal block on top of two vertical ones, but how did he do it?

I think it is hardly fair that now even animals are better artists than me.

And in my defense, i think the fact that i did not get this says more about the poor quality of our education system than about my innate stupidity.

#10 I am totally against these being in school, but "banning" plastic knuckles won't do any good. As far as i know we don't have "plastic detectors" and i am pretty sure searching everyone as they enter public places would violate a person's right to privacy. I doubt banning the sell of these would do anything because they don't exactly look very difficult to make. And as so many people have already pointed out, you can make a weapon out of almost anything (just look at prisons).

Finally, i wanted to say this was hilarious. To summarize the report:
1. Reporter asks random person what they think about plastic knuckledusters.
2. Random person is shocked and appalled.
3. Repeat until time slot is filled.
