Wroezelaar, a toy for pigs

July 2, 2008 11:11am

Bringing back some delightful childhood memories of fear mixed with exhilaration - the pig pen on a friends farm was a fenced, wooded area. We'd hop the fence with a bucket of feed, shake it and then hear the ominous rustling and snorting coming from the woods. Then, we'd hightail it down the wooded paths, hearing "them" coming after us, freaking ourselves out imagining the alien horde. Good times. Until they caught up. Then it was every kid for himself.

Hey look, I'm sharing.

Instant Action, the YouTube of 3D Gaming, coming to OS X soon

Wonder when sports games will make a splash in this area - With all of the inherent multiplayer, team building and trash talking possibilities, seems a perfect place to stick the next Madden-esque franchise.

Creepy slacks ad from 1970

$12.95 for a product that will have women laying at your feet? What a value! Now, how much will the sexual harassment law suit set me back?

Hey, flip this ad with a woman conquering a man and...hmm, it's still sexist against women, isn't it? Isn't that diabolical.

The wit and wisdom of Prince Philip

Sounds kinda like the stuff my grandfather used to pop out on occasion. Pretty typical of the sort of things a bigoted 70 something year old might say.

Steve Martin on being funny

January 29, 2008 11:10am

I prefer Steve's cliff notes on the subject:

"Comedy... is the ability to make people laugh... without making them puke."

Stone Faces

Particularly sad given that NH invested god knows how much in merchandising the old man on all their highway signs... Would probably cost less to construct a replacement than to replace all the signs.

Baby trained to give evil eye

A good and reasonable first step to prepare a kid for this world.

The first must-have talents I imparted to my offspring?
1. The Spit-take
2. The Roboto
Preferably executed in that order. My wife was very happy with me.
