Record-breaking gathering of video game cosplayers

This is for the second gaming-specific edition, and will almost certainly be one of the first to fall...

Specifically it is set up as the largest gathering of people ONLY dressed as videogame characters, with the latter defined as characters who first appeared in games, rather than simply those who have, at some point or another, appeared in games.

BTW, I was there for GameSpot (our office is just around the corner from the Millennium bridge), and you can see me in my big, green suit!

The last time I entered the US I took the time to ask the agent dealing with my admission to explain the concept of moral turpitude for me.

He was very helpful, then sent me off for a thorough USDA spot check.

This reminds me very much of a similar installation in a San Francisco bar called The Phone Booth.

They have a chandelier installed made entirely of Barbie Dolls. That's a awesome; this, not so much.

These are not Cliffs Notes; this is not scholarship. It is just

She allowed it to exist online with a subsistence model, and now that they people behind it want to make money off it, she's clamping down, and rightly so.

I'm not a great believer in the general concept of intellectual property, but in this instance I think it applies. The characters are hers, the stories are hers; if you want to make money using them, then there should be licensing fees paid or some other arrangement made.
