I know some of you boingers live in LA... Go to the Hollywood Forever cemetery and you'll find a few of these. I personally wouldn't want my eternal monument become so quickly dated...I mean can you imagine how stupid you would feel if you died 10 years ago and the guy buried next to you has a like a sidekick LX on his tombstone and there you are with a Star-Tac flip phone and like a Geo Metro?

this makes sense if you look at how the music industry is reshaping. the cost of digital downloads is dropping rapidly and more bands are giving the music away for free. what isnt going down are the price of tickets for a real physical performance by these artists. LiveNation is going to reap massive profits from understanding this trend early on.

That's great. I knew i couldnt be the only person that works in this manner. I started with photoshop in highschool and didnt bother to learn illustrator or even the vector tools inside photoshop til maybe 2 years ago...in fact i recently did a meat puppets video using my old photoshop habits...

when i moved to LA in 03, i flew with a circuit-bent speak and spell in my luggage. i'm still amazed that it wasnt confiscated as it had a mess of toggle switches and wires poking out the side.
