There's a phone strapped to everybody's head
Now that just brings TMBG to mind:

Sony Cybershot DSC-T2 Has 4GB of Memory On Board
October 25, 2007 9:50am
I was a fan of Sony cameras - my DSC-W70 took some good photos - but their abysmal customer service mean that I won't be giving them any more of my money.
The backlight on my W70's display died while in Cambodia - presumably due to condensation in the high humidity. Despite the camera being less than 1 year old, Sony claim that the warranty is void because of 'physical damage' to the camera - namely water damage from condensation. I'm now looking for a better option for my next camera.
I do like the idea of a usable amount of memory built-in to a camera - if only another manufacturer would follow suit...
Moment of TSA surrealist zen @ LAX: Xeni
August 30, 2007 11:29am
I'm with bxrguy - just this morning I suggested to my wife that we could use some frequent flyer miles to visit Chicago. After reading these comments, I think I'll just avoid unnecessary trips to or via US airports.
I wonder what the TSA goons would do if somebody fainted or had a heart attack. Would anyone be allowed to help? What if everybody in the freeze zone just collapsed to the floor...?

This is nothing new. I was aware in the early 90's that arriving in the US and telling the INS that the purpose of the visit it "to visit my girlfriend" would likely result in refusal of entry. The assumption being that the person in question would be more likely to remain in the US and work illegally. The only difference is that DHS is now playing the role of the INS.
