"And yet you keep coming back, when it's obviously not your cup of tea?"
You're right, of course. Only those willing and able to nod agreeably to a particular post should comment.
When will I learn?
Trailer for new Hunter Thompson documentary

The trailer sparks my interest, and I'm sure I'll see it in some format, but it hardly looks "incredible". Seems like standard documentary fare-some journalistic and personal footage, some filmed interviews-where's the "incredible". Try 'Thin Blue Line'-a documentary that blew up how documentarys are made, and got an innocent guy out of prison. Now that's "incredible".
Still, goes along with all the self-described "hilarious" postings that bb gives us.
Man trains rat to sit on cat to sit on dog

The dog seems to have a 'god-my-life-sucks-but-what're-ya'-gonna-do' air. The cat doesn't seem very happy either. As for the rat? Who knows, but I'd guess scared shitless.
Orlando-area people raise monkey as surrogate kids -- "monkids"

Seemed like fun until I woke up one morning with my fingers eaten off.

Once again, one man's 'hilarious' is another man's 'occasional smile inducing'.
Little monkeys ride tiny motorcycles

"Adorable"? That's just creepy, and business as usual for the monkey. The bright red ass, the shit-throwing, the eating the fingers of addled old gappers.....
I hate the monkey.

Most impressive? No tattoos! At least no visible ones.
Good on ya' Tom, for actually being different, instead of pretending to be different, and keep up the good work.
One suggestion-if you're only going to have a brake on one wheel, make it the front. Much more stopping power, and much less chance of you high-siding off the bike.
Angular attic staircase -- cheap, steep, and does the trick
January 21, 2008 11:20am
"Cheap"? "Low-cost"? "Huh"?
Words that can only come from a ball-busting homeowner who assumes that because it's different, it must be easier to build.
I see a lot of labor inherent in the design, and of course it's uniqueness would add head-scratching time for the carpenter doing the work.
I'm not saying I don't like the looks-I do. Obviously, the whole place has that clean, Scandinavian, don't-even-think-about-kids look. But the details (no baseboards, but flooring must be installed net cut/tight fit) adds to the cost, not the other way around.
No friends yet.

Sadly, not a true 'steamroller', which would have been awesome beyond compare, adding whole layers to the artistic construct. Still and all, cool.
