If I may nitpick just a little bit: rabbits do not normally eat faeces which are typically round, dry and fibrous. They do eat cecal pellets (or cecotropes) directly from the anus. These typically look like a dark brown cluster of berries and are soft, moist and pungent.
Cecotropes contain byproducts of bacterial and fungal fermentation in the rabbit's cecum (the corresponding structure in humans would be the appendix) like vitamins and fatty acids, and provide the rabbit with most of its nutrition.

Snake in the bog! There's a mthrfckng snake in the mthrfckng bog!
Here's another scaly tale from over a decade ago: a guy in Singapore got bitten in the goolies by a python while sitting on the pot (scroll down to Once bitten, twice shy).

The cases are unprimed, uncrimped, and empty. "Fully Unloaded" might be a more appropriate name for that uncomfortable-looking piece of furniture...
Accounts of trying to gets bats out of house
October 3, 2007 2:04pm
I have a bat-and-hair story from about 15 years ago:
I was working late (and alone) at the office. It had been raining very heavily and I went out to the balcony to see if it had stopped -- and this black shape flapped out of the darkness and landed just above my ear.
I carefully got the bat off and rushed it into the office -- it bit me all the way -- and popped it into a plastic carrier bag. I admired its attractive doggy face and considered for a while whether I should take it home with me. Nah.
So I released it. I wish I could say I held it in my hand until it decided to leave, but it was more like "I put it on the floor because I didn't want to get bitten again, and then it flew away".
I hope it survived the experience. After all, I did.

TNH: I think it would be useful to have an article on BB's comment moderation policies somewhere on the site (an administrivia section, perhaps?) with a link on the main page.
Jennifer: That was odd. Did you really intend to quote and misattribute a huge block of text, only to add two lines at the end?
Aileen: It's all true: TNH is just some newbie rolled in off the street, complete with tin-god complex and conversation-stopping mojo. Her own site Making Light contains all the proof you need: she's only been co-host and moderator there since, er, 2001, and some of the threads have exceeded, umm, 1000 posts.

Science Fiction Writers of America abuses the DMCA

TNH @ #243 (on error rate):
It was too high to tolerate.
I know Andrew Burt is claiming that the instances Cory mentioned were the only ones he's ever made, but his own description of his procedures makes that claim hard to credit, and his own description of his checking and proofreading makes it clear that he can't possibly know how many errors he's made.
Nick Mamatas counted more than 80 errors and commented on same in the sfwa community on LiveJournal. Most of the documents listed should not have been on Scribd in the first place, but SFWA did not have the standing to issue a DMCA takedown demand for them.

Feed-in tariffs. In Germany and some other European countries, PV owners are paid a premium rate for selling power back to the grid. In Germany I think the FIT is 3x the retail price.
Other incentives include rebates for installing PV arrays. In Australia, for example, a homeowner can claim up to A$8000 against the cost of installing a PV array, subject to certain conditions e.g. primary place of residence, certified installer, array to remain installed for a minimum of five years.
