HOWTO start a flashmob

"Everyone needs to go through the phase of goofy mischief as they're introduced to the mind-blowing concept of spontaneous, instant organizing in meatspace. It's the natural and appropriate reaction to the realization that we can organize and interact in this totally new way."
this kind of thought process is one of the few things that turns me off about this site.
I'm sure there's a performance artist/ham radio enthusiast somewhere who's far more irate.
Children's book about plastic surgery

This reminds me of possibly the greatest review I've ever read of a television show (MY SUPER SWEET 16)...
"This is why terrorists want to kill us."

Disney are flat-out thugs in many respects when it comes to business.
Jonestown death tape: audio from the last hours of a mass suicide
February 19, 2008 6:49am
this is one of those things that used to turn up in the mailboxes of tape traders, in the pre-internet days of 80's nihilism. The R. "Bud" Dwyer suicide press conference video was another.
those were such innocent times.
Worn Free's vintage tees made famous by rockers
February 15, 2008 10:32am
I saw some great shows as a lil' whippersnapper at the Capitol Theatre (Ramones, Elvis Costello, Clash, Police) but $40 is a little more than I'd be willing to open that conversation by wearing one.
Woman gropes mall Santa

at least this gives the News Times message board regulars something different to discuss other than "invading hordes" of immigrants.

#38- I don't know what to feel about somehow being armed with the knowledge that BLUE SWEDE'S version of "Hooked On A Feeling" is the one that contains the "oo-ga-sha-ga's".
