BDSM Black Canary Barbie

July 17, 2008 7:32am

On its own, I don't have a problem with it. HOWEVER, I have two little girls (3 and 4 y.o.) and it's incredibly hard to find dolls/toys for them which are not suggesting some sort of sex-up. Bratz, Barbie-types... even My Little Pony once upon a time used to be 'nice'. Now they look over their shoulder suggestively, with full-on eyelashes, make up and all the rest.

If there was a non-sexed up doll for kids for every otaku wetdream doll, i'd be happy. Otherwise, it seems to be getting harder to keep pre-pubescent girls off the pole.

Author sues bookstores for selling his book

June 17, 2008 11:33am

From the post I understand the problem is the illegal copying of the books, right? Somebody is making money selling fake copies of the book. I think it stinks. Like downloading MP3's and selling them, right?

Prada's new secondlifey fashion film/ad, "Trembled Blossoms"

February 9, 2008 11:44pm

It's perverse. A child-like fairy does the catwalk wearing nothing but high-heels, in a world that cares only for clothes. She discovers a new world where it's OK to sacrifice a beautiful living thing (fish) for the sake of making a bag.

Yes, I know it's Prada, but there were so many other ways of making this work...

Nice artwork, rotten concept.

Winamp Lives!

September 14, 2007 5:56am

I still use Winamp, and I prefer it over iTunes. I can organise my music thru the file system (fantastic), and also organise the exact order i want on my playlist. Easy to use, barely any resources used, i just wish there was a Winamp version for Mac...
