The alternating depth on the treads also allows you to put a put a staircase in a space that normally only allow a ladder.

#38 A favorite quote of mine is "There are three kind of liars. Liars, damn liars, and statisticians." Your statistics are not relevant unless you at the very least also factor in the per capita percentage of gun ownership.
England and Wales have a much higher number and percentage of death by cricket bats then the U.S. There is a relative scarcity of said bats in the U.S.
Also does your gun death statistics include accidental gun death? Deaths when the gun is used in Self Defense? Death caused by Police Officers? Or just gun related homicides? Do those homicides differentiate between immediate deaths and people who die later from there injuries.
A one statistical study I've looked revealed this sort of error when years ago when two nigh identical neighboring counties reported those deaths differently. One county reported ANY death in a crime when a gun was involved as gun related homicide, even if you choked to death on a lollipop whilst waving your gun around. The other county ONLY reported immediate deaths caused by the gun as gun related homicide, if you survived the initial gunshot and died later it was reported differently.
Add to that the political implications of various elected Sherrif and other positions who may under or over report actual crimes depending on their political agenda. (Reporting is not universally mandatory nor always done the same.)
It plays merry hob with getting accurate number, and there is an entire subfield of Criminal Justice merely trying to find out what the "real" numbers are. Hard enough comparing the numbers between city to city, and you want to compare country to country?

Frankly my suspicion is Cafepress being twits.
There is a reason I use zazzle.
A couple of years ago I was teaching a class at ye' community college on digital convergence and used a tattoo design that I had done (and been tattood with.)
This design had actually been sitting in my Cafepress for over year when I ordered a t-shirt (and other products) as an example for this class.
They billed me for the order, but shortly after that I got a snarky e-mail that it was violation of a known copyright and wasn't allowed.
1) I pointed out that it was a derivate work, and as the artist of said work I held the copyright of that specific design since over 30% of the design had significantly changed.
2) The t-shirt was instructional material for a class along with several other products I was ordering, and provided a syllabus to the class and requisite information of the college, including my edu address.
They replied with the exact same form letter as before. When I requested a real human being read and respond to my letter, a follow-up e-mail indicated that the "offending" design had been removed.
Logging in actually revealed that ALL my designs had been removed.
At my insistence that they restore all my deleted items, and either process the order or reverse the charge on my credit card I received a final e-mail informing me my account had be revoked and no further contact would be acknowledged. Nor were any follow-up e-mails responded to.
Nor was the charge rescinded. (I eventually had my credit-card company issue a chargeback.)
It took me 5 minutes to recreate my order with Zazzle, and I've never had a problem with them since.

Depic is my new hero.
Thank you all for chiming in on these great solutions... this has been lurking in the back of my mind and I'm gratified to see the solutions are finally robust enough to accomplish it. (They weren't when I looked 2-3 years ago.)
Now I have an excuse to buy a Chumby!

Have contacted them and they told you were out of luck?

Re: Joe Funk.
It is a small amount of liquid, but it is of such concentration it is more like a Dopio or Lungo shot from an espresso machine then a equal amount of drip.
When I make a batch it fills a standard coffee cup about halfway up, and I usually dilute with about an equal portion of hot water.
Even when diluted it is much stronger with more intense flavor then you typically can get from drip.
When I last moved I left behind with the former roommates a $150 high end thermal carafe coffee maker because I had effectively stopped using it favor of the Aeropress.
However, unlike Mark I heat my water in the electric kettle I use to heat the water for my morning oats.
