For more stuff like this you should check out Clement Meadmore's book "How to Make Furniture with Out Tools." The book seems to be unavailable on amazon, but maybe I'll get around to scanning in my copy someday. Great how-to book though.

This is pretty much real. I responded to the ad, had a nice interview over the phone and was offered the job. I rented a uhaul and am presently in the process of packing up my life to move to New York to pursue the dream.

At least I hope its real. It sounded like I wouldn't be able to get my deposit back on that apartment in Manhattan.

I had the pleasure of spending a week in Aspen last summer with Paul Polak, as well as others from IDE (not to mention a large amount of other designers). They really are doing great things and really helped to inspire me to try and do the same.

I may or may not know/be a person who runs a very unofficial myspace page for casabonita. Who ever actually runs it is very secretive and writes blogs and comments from the restaurant's point of view.
