Mark, are you intentionally making a sly wink to "The Incredibles" there, or is the awesomeness of that movie just seeping out of your subconscious?

My GOD I loved this movie when I first saw it ... especially the music!

This is, of course where the Misfits got their ever-fab song "Rat Fink" from. And then, they, themselves, owe the Ames Brothers' "Rag Mop" a huge hat tip -- and the cycle continues ...

I'm the author of that post -- and those of you excoriating me for mentioning it, I actually see your point. I think the thing to remember here is that overall, it's not a big deal either way. Blogging's hard, a daily treadmill where you just grunt out what you can and hope for the best.

Ultimately my world is richer for that guy being in it. Sure, I had a laugh, but it's not like I really care, for real. I'm no model either and nobody appointed me the king of all that is beautiful.

I just saw something I thought was funny and wrote about it in a desperate grab for attention. Comedians do this all the time while standing on a stage with a bright light shining on them. Me, I get to sit here and do it in my underpants.

Otherwise, it's a laugh, or it's not and it'll be over real fast either way.

@PostHuman ... I sort of see your point. But actually, the problem that most people would have with the idea is that it's just freaking creepy. Imagine, having a plastic corpse in your closet. How is that NOT a turnoff to most people?

Hey guys -- I am a HUGE fan of BoingBoing, have been for years, and I'm going to continue to be. But while I think the show's okay, I don't think it's the best medium for you ... your blog is awesome and the TV format kinda loses something in the translation.
