Drive-in movie theater gallery

Hello All,
Just outside of Detroit was the Gratiot drive-in. That's the drive-in that was made famous by a photo in the late 1950's. There was a playground beneath the screen with a small carousel which by that time had to be pushed by the kids to rotate.
It was customary for people to begin honking their car horns to try and prompt the start of the evenings program.
Such innocent fun.

Amazing. I just happened to purchase the Lenny Bruce box recently. Lenny did a routine (or "bit" as he called them)about being a kid in New York and talking his mother into taking him there because of his interest in (what he thought was) science.
His bit ends up being a send up of the half-man half-woman at Huberts museum.
I will be ordering this book ASAP.
Pranksters everywhere should give Lenny a listen.
MSN Music customers lose *all* their music the next time they buy a new PC

I have not bought any music from the MSN service, but this seems to be a chance for hackers to come up with a "fix".
I have to admit that I don't know anything about writing code or programming. This is just an idea that hit me, I am unsure if something like a "fix" is even possible.

re: passing of time
I recall an interview with the cartoonist Charles Schultz when he made a comment about the past.
He referred to the WWI ace part of his comic strip. He thought that it would be alright if he used a character from WWI since another major conflict had passed since that point in time.
I would have to say it was certainly an American point of view about the Great War.

Just a note on traveling by Zeppelin...
My stepfather rode in one many times for a certain tire company after WWII. He told me that they tend to roll side to side even in calm conditions.
So bring the barf bags when you sign up.
That being said, I love to check out these type of drawings. It was their vision of the future.
Sort of like those new wave fashions of the late '70s and early '80s...

This is a great idea.
Just be careful in abandoned buildings, any part of a structure could collapse or fail (like a fire escape).
I miss Detroit. I moved away this summer after being out of work for Eleven months.
Last weekend on NPR they stated the unemployment rate is 8.4% and maybe things will pick up around 2013.
There are a lot of good bands in the area, most of them can be found on myspace.
