HOWTO make a Disney Jungle Cruise playhouse
July 1, 2008 7:13am
Wow. This makes my daughters home-made playhouse look like a 1-room shack (which it kinda is.)
I wonder how he created the unique rails? Did he route each one by hand? Or did he use a home-made jig of some sort?

"She'll hold together. Hear me, baby? Hold together!"

That thing? Whatta piece of junk!
Wow. It blows my mind that the same Millennium Falcon that I played with when I was 8 was made in the same goddamn mold every other one that was made for the past 30 years.
Good to see that they are finally updating it.

"After the accident many people suffered from a kind of sunburn, lost their hair and teeth, and died many years later of cancer."
This comment from the artist refers to "Three Mile Island" and I think it's blown out of proportion.
Wait...My father is losing his hair and teeth. Oh wait, he's 70.

First/Worst: Online Nickname?
December 10, 2007 8:17am
My very first was "kidspike" on compuserve in 1990 or so...but the one I lament most has to be "HALO@aol.com" back in 1996. Not because I used it in all it's spec ops glory (High Altitude, Low Opening) but because I wish I had kept it and ebayed it to some crazed FPS fan year later.
2007 New Yorker cartoon similar to 1984 Far Side cartoon

It's a Ziggy!
A Ziggy?
That irreverence , that wit I'd recognize it anywhere. Some charlatan has stolen a Ziggy and
passed it off as his own. I can prove it. Quick Elaine , to my archives.
