Hope it wasn't an old Motorola Brick.... he'd end up looking like frickin' Spongebob.

Homemade deck of monster trading cards

I wish I still had my sticker collection from 1982 so that I could print these out on Avery label paper and put them in my collection.

Damn -- do people even collect stickers any more????

Ancient Roman D20 for sale, $18,000

Day With No News -- brilliant BBC news-footage remix

There's something so... apologetic... regretful... ashamed... about the threaded-together facial expressions of these new anchors. It's as if they're sitting there, wishing they could tell us, "We're so sorry it turned out this way. This isn't what we meant to happen at all."

Bathroom radio that's handsome, powerful and water-resistant: Henry Kloss Tivoli Audio PAL

November 9, 2007 12:52pm

I've got one of the Tivoli PALs as well (in fact, got it from Brookstone a while back, floor model, for $37 -- that deal was delicious!). Fantastic, but I use it for the living room rather than the bathroom.

Here's what I use as a bathroom radio: wonderfully water resistant, cute, and reasonably powerful:

Extreme cuisine: So what does it feel like to eat live octopus?

September 6, 2007 12:23pm

It's just like eating a tiny gobbet of wriggling Wacky Wall Walker. Seriously.
