so there's a nice distributed attack on this policy. anyone with a link from bb can use a meta refresh or a server-side 302 redirect to point that link at a 'forbidden' site. voila, that post must now be removed.
i've done this with an inbound link from bb to a site i control.

Lenslok: proto-DRM from the ZX Spectrum era

I had one of these for a game on my Acorn BBC 'beeb' B 32k. It was more or less impossible to read even with the right size screen... didn't bother playing for long.
Luckily Elite -- first game I ever bought -- had no copy protection on the beeb.

It's about time I implemented my luggage and apparel line brand BBOM.
This is the kind of thing which needs a mass protest. With e-ticketing, anyone can fake up a boarding pass with a thermal printer -- won't work at the gate of course but it'll certainly get you through 'security'. Go on, arrest us all. All 1000 of us...

No, a Dane. It's an acronym of 'LEg GOdt', or 'play well'.
And I wasn't making a typographically pedantic point, I was shouting. I hope that clarifies the situation for you.

I think the high oil price is a good thing; it makes the development of alternatives more economically viable.
Besides, the problem here is not lack of primary energy sources -- the sun provides more yottawatts than we'll ever need -- the problem is capture, distribution and storage. Where's our Shipstone?
Virgin Media CEO: Net neutrality is "bollocks," promises to breach agreement with customers

I dropped Telewest (now the 'better' half of NTL^H^H^HVirgin Media) for Internet service four years ago.
I ditched them for many reasons, amongst them:
-broken transparent proxying
-random service outages in the middle of the night that lasted 2+ hours with no warning or subsequent explanation
-asymmetric upstream smaller than it should be to use the downstream properly
-consistent failure to reach claimed downstream speeds
-customer service from hell - even better with NTL
-dodgy pricing if you don't take their TV service
-phone line not optional, and subject to frequent outages
I have ADSL from Zen now, works fine unless it rains for a few days thanks to my leaky BT line.

forgive me if i find a little disappointment in the transformation of the blog i've read for the last nine years. there's no sin so wicked as hypocrisy in a world of moral relativism.
