Bush administration: Fourth Amendment doesn't apply to domestic military operations
April 2, 2008 9:40pm
Who says this has anything to do with Bush? As far as I can tell, he is just a useful idiot. You all might want to look into the domestic FEMA camps that have been built by the good folks at Haliburton, or maybe the executive control of the National Guard. While we might find some comfort in the fact that our own boyz & girlz in the US military would be reluctant to shoot at their fellow countrymen (they are specifically queried on this as part of a slew of evaluations) you should know that they now have a bunch of non-lethal compliance devices like the microwave heat dispersal beam at their disposal to ease their strained consciouses. Kind of like the blank shell for the lucky soldier on the firing squad. Lastly, there have been foreign troops conducting citizen round-up drills on US soil for the last 3 administrations, so maybe we should all take time to learn a foreign language.

The wit and wisdom of Prince Philip
March 19, 2008 10:14am
I really don't find his comments offensive, just insensitive. What I find offensive is his title and position. The royalty of this world are parasites and are so inbred they make areas of the deep south in the US a melting pot in comparison. I suspect the largely forgotten eugenics movement of the late 19th and early 20th century plays a large role on his whole outlook.

I think you're onto something. It seems as we "progress" as a society, the justice of our legal systems is only accessible and serves but the wealthiest minority. Maybe we don't put enough honest people in positions of power and authority, or maybe we're letting the mainstream media do our thinking for us. I am not sure, but history shows us that the path we are on always ends bad.

#29 Finding an accessible card carrying fascist is almost as hard as finding an honest man.
I appreciate the comment but I guess what I meant was the debate is not about whether this security measure or that one is warranted or not but why all this security in the first place? Start debating the real questions and all these other details will fall away. I seen the enemy and it is us.

PASTED THE WRONT DRAFT: I don't know how our SUV's are increasing the surface temps on Mars and Jupiter but I have a feeling not a lot of man made warming koolaid drinkers will venture to explain it either.

Here's a thought: While you folks are debating the type of wall paper for your prison cells, the people who actually run things around here stole more of our humanity.

Montana Governor explains why Real ID sucks
March 7, 2008 11:51pm
The governor seems to imply that he is not only against the demand because, as he rightfully points out, it is an unconstitutional power grab by the Chertoff and the FEDs, but because that ultimately Real ID is ineffective due to security loopholes. Does that mean that he would be for stamping people with a RFID chip at birth or creating a central retinal scan database? Traveling is not a priviledge, it is a right. Any impediment to that right is an affront to ones God given liberty. The founders of this country would be ashamed with what we put up with.

FBI terror-cops inventing terrorists to bust
March 5, 2008 4:28pm
So the FBI gives them money to buy fake bombs and ammo? That makes sense because I've read and seen mainstream news reports that federal agents set-up one of their terrorist in training with a van load of explosives to park at the bottom of very tall buildings. I've even read those that the Feds would assist in letting planes fly into the same tall buildings and different ones as well.

What's hurting newspapers
February 2, 2008 10:04am
In my opinion, US newspapers and journalist have experienced a rise and fall of credibility since the days of the penny press. With the build-up to the latest war, even traditionally respected papers like the NYT, LAT or WAPO, who beat the drums of war and helped spread the pro-invasion propaganda, have been cast in a new light. The internet's has spread alternative news to the masses serving as a check on the once hegemonic status of these large papers and their stories narratives. I believe there is an awakening occurring in this country where the once duped media bombarded population is coming to the realization that with all news and entertainment media in the control of a handful of individuals, the once widely held belief; that we in the free western world were free of the type of ubiquitous propaganda of Soviet or totalitarian regimes, is delusional at best. Another nail in the coffin is the phenomenon of Craigslist which has cut papers off newspapers from their once vital source of income...classifieds. I see this as unfortunate though, because it might only stifle the re-emergence of an independent press and leave us solely dependent an information network which is being censored more and more.

IMHO this legislation is going to pass there, then here, then everywhere else. Why? Read Plato's Republic. Our overlords think they should be in charge of everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. I don't believe in the devil but this whole ultra central controlled mass slavery thing is as satanic as anything I could ever imagined. Wake-up and smell the bondage.
TSA warns TSA to be on the lookout for anti-terror agents
November 15, 2007 8:42pm
When you consider how terror drills have been used as cover like they were on 9/11 and 7/7 in London, this might not be such a bad idea. Just don't ask me how those wacky terrorists seem to know exactly when, where and what type of drills will be conducted.

Isn't it time for everyone to grow up? Large central governments can never be trusted. This was a truism for many a generation and somewhere along the line we and our parents and grandparents were hoodwinked into believing in this representative democracy. Our great grandparents and older generations knew better though. They knew that democracy meant vigilance and responsibility. But that was before the creation of the new socialist man and brain washing on a massive scale.
Sorry for such a dark post but this stuff is really getting old.
