Gogol Bordello's punk gypsy

Hehe, you guys are soooo late on this. They have been popular in NYC for a long time - and for good reason. Amazing music, amazing concerts, amazing people!

Also, Sergey (violinist) is a personal friend of mine, and I can't tell you guys what an incredible and inspirational human being he is. He used to be an artistic director of a theater in Moscow (or something like that), and is definitely one of the reasons why their live shows kick so much ass.

As to the above question, Eugene used to DJ there without the rest of the band.

Loved this book...

#9, agreed regarding the book being great movie material. Out of curiosity, what happens to the film rights when a novel is released under CC license? Can someone now write a screenplay based on the book w/o permission from the copyright holder?

Reason TV: paramilitary raid on veterans' poker game

First of all, POKER IS NOT GAMBLING.

While chance does play a role within the grander scheme of the game, skill and only skill is the final deciding element.

The government's anti-gambling legislation is laughable - but lumping poker in with the rest is simply sickening. Sadly, an innocent poker player and math professor had to die because of their short-sighted idiocy:
