Science of orgasm

May 15, 2008 12:03pm

Okay, I wouldn't call it "fringe," but it is interesting that in this day and age (though, I guess it was in 2005), they resorted to using the older and poorer resolution PET imaging instead of fMRI.

It might be interesting to follow up with fMRI.

And no one has mentioned that they finally got around to investigating female orgasm when the male orgasm was already well established?

Mazda destroys 4,703 shiny new cars worth $100 million

#39- Yeah, Mazda (and especially it's parent company, Ford) probably doesn't want a repeat of the Pinto lawsuits.

Sorry if this seems trite and rehashed- I've never seen Fight Club, so I don't know the rest of the context of that quote.

Man repeatedly calls late wife's voicemail

I agree with #1- send him a copy of the message, otherwise the cynic in me is saying that the only reason they're doing this is so he'll keep that account active and they reap the monthly service charge.

NYC trying to fast-track legislation to police ownership of air-quality detectors and Geiger counters

It would be ironic if it covered smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, otherwise, what a great loophple.

Why it's good to leave your WiFi open

January 10, 2008 10:53am

Yeah, some people are a bit particular about their "property." I'd be annoyed if every car that wanted to pull a U-turn on my street decided to use my driveway.

I remember the people on my cul-de-sac (sp?) not liking all the cars that just came up and drove around it it when I was a kid.

That said, I leave my wifi open, but put a basic request as the SSID, something like: DoNoEvil.

No friends yet.
