Fun straws are phallic?

March 18, 2008 5:50pm

Of course this woman is afraid of the straws, if she's afraid of a simple word like 'penis.'
Obviously she's not afraid of the real thing tho, as she has a daughter. I wonder why the word 'penis' is somehow scarier for her than a real live penis?
She probably watches way too much tv.

Outrageous!
Too perfect, an amphibious Lotus Esprit! Let's be frank, it's more åwesome than åwesome! I mean, surely the man is a Genius. I would kneel before this Machine to bask in its scintillating display of style, versatility, and beauty. It's very mark of brilliance is matched only by my revered BoingBoing.

P.S.
I'd bet we'd see some weird fishes if we took a 3 hour tour in this baby, hey Pesco? ;)

Privacy state-of-the-planet -- it's not good

December 31, 2007 12:41am

Dude, man we're not even safe in our own livingrooms. Do you know what I mean? Well, yes you do..
It's like, you're sitting there in your underwear, one hand on the mouse, the other hand wrapped around a tub of Häagen-Dazs and you're wondering who is tracking the event. I just blurbed a little about a resume browsing session feature and then read it after posting. I got the creeps immediately, remembering an email session or two that crashed and were resumed. There's no point in hitting 'don't resume' if you're worried about privacy. By the fact that there is 'resume' option, it's all been recorded.
And still, I love the feature :(
