I was once at a BBQ and the burgers were very spicy. I asked the cook what he put on it and he told me that since he didn't have any spices, he borrowed a girls pepper spray and misted it up into the air over the burgers. It was actually strangely delicious.

Also once I walked through a sports related riot and I got near someone who had been citrus sprayed, and while extremely painful in a way, it did smell lemony fresh.

most of the bodegas in my neighboor hood in brooklyn don't look the other way when people put money on the counter and walk out with something. i do it all the time actually... much quicker than waiting in line.

also @COPPERPIXIE in Prague you can pay a fee and get a license to collect fines for getting on the trains and trollys without paying. all those people are sort of freelance meter maids and they all take bribes...

I have watched this probably 20 times since I saw it a few days ago. I keep Rick ROlling people with it, but everyones reaction is just "what?".

While I am a Fairey fan I think it is pretty amazing that he is doing the 1984 cover. One of his most reused images is the BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING poster from the 1956 film version of 1984. He pretty much just stole the poster and made it his own.

I loved that poster from 1984 and had a post card of it hanging above my bed as a kid. Later in life I became Fairey fan and when I had the opportunity I bought one of his posters with that iconic image. It hangs above my bed currently.

I just think it is appropriate that one of the images he appropriated was from a film version of a book that he is now getting paid to design.

As far as Fairey's plagiarism goes, this article, while I don't really agree with most of it, is very worth reading.

the co director of heavy metal parking lot is a guy named jeff krulik who has consistently made amazing films over his entire career. his movie hitlers hat made me laugh and cry in a span of a few minutes. and pretty much everything he has done is wonderful. he also is a great guy and remembered exactly who I was when I ran into him over a year after briefly meeting him.

my site had some nudity on it when i first started blogging, but nothing by any means graphic or pornographic. so i got blocked from everything. then years went by and there was no nudity on my site and i still was blocked from everything. when i tried to apply to adsense google had me listed as an adult site and i couldn't use it. i am a photographer and now all my photos won't show up on google images if you have even a moderate safe search. it is pretty unfair. i tried to contact google to no ends...

since then, i have started doing a lot of nudes in public bathrooms, so my site has gotten a lot more R rated, so it makes sense for me to be banned from work computers and libraries, but still... the google thing really annoys the heck of me because my site is far from a porn site.
