Yet another double donation - Cory, be honest. It was the red cape in the last frame that sold you, wasn't it?

Waterbuoy Key Ring Inflates When Wet

I wonder if this is the product from Dragon's Den? If you don't know the show, it's a BBC reality game in which entrepeneurs make a pitch to a bunch of VCs in order to get real investments. This product (or one very much like it) got funding about a year ago, as I recall.

Filial piety: letting your father-in-law nurse at your breast

February 1, 2008 4:06am

Well, that's the first time I ever googled for "bible daughter father breast", but couldn't find the reference. I'm 99% sure that there's a similar Old Testament story. For some reason, I think the father was sanctified but not the daughter.

btw crine = crying, I'm pretty sure.

Dutch RFID transit pass cracked and cloned

The Dutch metro (and tram) system has gradually been moving from an honor system with spot checks to having conductors and controllers all over the place. At least in the 14 years I've been living here.

From an article that was published today:
http://automatiseringgids.sdu.nl/ag/nieuws/nieuws/toon_nieuwsbericht.jsp?di=385168

The CBP (Dutch Bureau for Protection of Personal Data - yeah, we've got one of those) is threatening to impose fines on the GVB (Amsterdam public transport company) if it doesn't comply to the law in the use of the new card. The fines are so high that they could lead to the bankruptcy of the company. Later on in the article, the chairman of the CBP is basically quoted as saying: "Threatening language? You betcha!" I think I like this guy...
