i don't quite understand what "lagos calling" is. what's the context? it seems like a fashion spread for a magazine. what does "fantasy" mean? are those "actual" people wearing their own clothes or are they models/actors portraying something?

aside from that, the pieter hugo photos/"the hyena men" are very interesting

can we add up the newsworthy or worse things that have happened at the MSP airport in recent history?? that place is a hot bed of controversy.

2. that guy who got cop brutalized trying to ride his fold-up bike away from the airport
3. they detained all those imams a few months ago
4. NWA strikes, as always (remember the time employees gathered out on the tarmac in the middle of the day?)

Praise Jesus for Ernie Chambers!!! I don't know what rock the other anonymous Nebraskan lived under, but Ernie is one of the few saving graces of Nebraska politics. I also grew up there, Ernie is one of maybe two state senators of color (I'm not sure of the exact number), he has served for decades now standing up for his constituents in urban Omaha and fighting against the various commercial and frighteningly conservative interests that mark the Nebraskan concept of "progress." The state introduced term limits several years ago simply to get him out of the senate. He is a master of irony, king of the filibuster and an avid weightlifter.

I'm personally much more worried about the way every single other senator wastes my money by banning gay marriage and screwing over the rural/immigrant/you-name-it communities in the state.

p.s.- just to be nitpicky/annoying, sugar bear is the mascot for Sugar Crisp aka Golden Crisp cereal, Honeycomb cereal is a whole different breed (though also Post), with a different annoying mascot.
