I have one of the adesso keyboards that looks exactly like the one discussed. I'm mostly satisfied with it. I use it from the couch to control the "media pc" hooked up to the TV.

Another tool that would be exactly what I needed the one time that I needed it. Too bad I did not have it at the time. Of course if I had it it would have been in my shop drawer at home and not in my tool bucket at the job site when I needed it.

I think the issue of architectural beauty for industrial structures has more to do with the forms that are familiar than something intrinsic to the design itself. The designers of that power plant were building as utilitarian and inexpensive a structure as they knew how to build that would meet the constraints they operated under.

Hey, here's an idea. How about a real volunteer army? Kids at home in Littleton using their networked Wii to control units like this in the field.
