I was raised as a Young Earth Creationists, so this debate strikes home for me. It's hard not to recognize how pervasive Creationism is in our country, and how many people are utterly convinced that the evidence supports their religiously based Origin views.

I was taught to trust the Bible over our own experiences and reason (the true root of this debate), but I was never able to swallow that one whole. Not that science has all the answers, it just has all the available SCIENTIFIC answers.

I thoroughly enjoyed all these posts, even with the misbranding. I thought some of the comments were rather rude; we have bloggers sitting in at the UN and people are complaining? Jesus Christ.

People should remember that this is gadgets AT BOINGBOING; we should expect it to have a different flavor than hardocp, eh? (Preferably with a little less rudeness...lol)

This is quintessential Doctorow, I love it! Synchronicity, as I don't see any direct correlation between being a copyfighter and a scifi writer.

I'm interested to see where this will go.
