Might be worth to point out that this is actually his 3rd video ... the first was just fun and games, self budgeted and pre-youtube ... but it went viral .. then a sponsor showed up and he made his 2006 video .. which was pretty much the same .. a bit more sophistcated .. then he got so popular that he thought 'heck, for the next video I invite everyone to dance along' .. and this is the 2008 version ...

John .. if you are looking into dropping weight while eating healthy .. explore the beauty of juicing (and i'd be keen to read reviews on juicers) ... I lost 44lbs since last november based on having a pint of veggie juice a day and doing my exercise bike 1 h ... i was shopping for 42" pants back then .. now i fit into 34" again .. i strongly recommend this and I think it would be cool to see some juicer reviews up here !!!

(also .. the actual act of turning veggies into pulp and juice has something raw, fierce and geeky to it)

Here in Italy everyone is so paranoid .. you never really see a not password protected network .. telecom italia sets you up with a 16 digit no-way-i-can-remember-that password ... and you cannot change it.

I bought 2 silicon rubber ice sphere molds at MUJI for about 7EUR (which now is like 50 bucks ?)

They work great, ok ,, they are not seamless ... but they do their job and still look fancy enough in gin & tonics :)

From experience I can say, yes, they look very 80ies and the pic quality is ok, as long as you hold your head still, the object does not move (tried and tested that on my 3 year old) and it is a bright, sunny day ...

Kinda fun thing and it just shows the general direction .. soon it will be smaller, better quality / faster cam, cheaper ... and hopefully nicer looking goggles

And what that long Aloe poster says : yep ... keep skin soft and greasy .. that helps a lot .. i had terrible psoriasis on my scalp ... the 4th dermatologist i sought for help said that all the stuff i have been taking so far actually made the condition worse (like all that anti dandruff stuff) .. it dried out my skin ... now i keep my head shaved, grease it every night with regular vaseline ... and it looks like a baby's bottom :)

We had a similar thing over 20 years back at my parents home .. it is a lot of work .. and you need to dry those darn bricks for a very very long time .... my mom stuck to this environmental fad a very short time :)

hope you get better soon Joel, instead of eating that clove of garlic .. get a juicer and make some veggie juice and chuck that clove right in there .. i do that every day :)

(hey, why don't you research some juicers and present us with your findings? I hear there are some interesting differences between centrifugal and masticating juicers :) )

While it says it is pc AND mac compatible .. it also states that this excludes the macbook and macbook pro with built in iSight ... i keep scratching my head why that is .. it must have something to do with that this cam also can work as a webcam ... weird ..

the trial also (claims) to nudge down the quality after 20 mins of use ... I love the idea and concept ... i wonder how they deal with eventual buffering while recording ... would that be cut out or just recorded ??? For exploring things like that I wish the trial would be a bit more lenient ...
