ROSSinDETROIT: That would haunt my dreams. In fact, now it will.
Are you actually near Detroit? That photo was taken in Shelby Township along 22 Mile, just west of M-53 (VanDyke).

This reminds me of a squirrel I found the other day while riding along a road near my house. It appears that someone attempted to preserve and pose it, but gave up and left it next to a telephone pole:

Yes, it is holding a piece of caution tape. No, I don't know why.

Mysterious, doughy, unknown blob clogs sewer

I recently had a problem with mold in the drain of one of my bathrooms. It was really interesting because it only collected in the undersink bits, not the wall.
I took photos, and they are here if you are interested. It just seemed like a solid, slimy mass at first, but when broken up it looked more like canned fish.

A few years ago I took the 2004 set of this data and produced a set of iPod Notes files using this data. It allows one to easily drill down to a particular NA number and find out what a vehicle is carrying. I find this quite fun while sitting in traffic and wondering what various vehicles are carrying.
Those trucks with 1075 and the little silver cans? Propane or Butane. 1203 on a tanker? Gasoline.
If you'd like to check out the work, it's here: NA Numbers for iPod

When I get some time (maybe this weekend or so) I'll redo the work for the 2008 data set.
