I'm surprised they would allow any multi-tool on the plane, Airport security refused to allow us to carry tools on the planes pre 911 for fear we would 'disassemble the plane in flight' or some such nonsense..

You can't use a club or a knife ? wasn't the club like the first tool used by the caveman ? A gun is far more complex to use than a club or a knife.. Many people can't figure out how to load a gun, until they are shown, but they could certainly swing a club and know which end of a knife is the dangerous pointy end..

Amazing how people are under the impression that anyone carrying a gun is going to whip it out at the smallest provocation and start shooting like it's the wild west. Being a concealed Carry permit holder doesn't make you immune to the laws, or give you the right to just gun people down. I think you anti-gunners should go take a concealed carry course to learn the laws in relation to carrying a firearm, I think you would find it rather enlightening.

Our CCW instructor did not collect the tuition fee till the second day, giving people the opportunity to leave the course without paying if they didn't agree with what they heard. We had several leave, because they felt the laws were so restricting what was the point of even carrying ?

There are several companies in the US that still manufacture Wooden Toys. I lived in Kane, PA for a while and the Holgate Toy company is located there. You can purchase a wooden version of the trolley from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood from them, as well as many other classic wooden toys.

Holgate was established in 1789 and no, that date is NOT a typo, so apparently kids have been playing with wooden toys for Hundreds of Years...

I purchased a Roomba about 2 years back as well. the pet hair rendered it pretty useless as it would get all into the workings of the little robot. It took me more time to clean the pet hair out of the roomba than if I had just vacuumed using an normal upright.

The roomba got about a half dozen uses before I gave up due to too a critter that just plain sheds too much.

I just met Hugh Thompson at a Security Conference last week. He was a very engaging speaker, which was a nice change from some of the typical dry Powerpoint heavy presenters usually found at these events.

I bookmarked the ATT Tech show site after his session last week, so I can check out some more Hugh.
