Have you ever noticed that those claiming to be eugenecists (however dilettante) seem to be pointing their finger at someone else so as if to deflect attention from their own obvious genetic aberrations?

And, might I ask, #11, what it is exactly that you have contributed to humanity (to date or to be expected) that qualifies your share of air...or at least Boing Boing comment post? No...seriously?

OK, SCORE!!!!! I totally quit smoking by playing Loco Roco. I smoked since I was 13, quit more times than I can count. Considered that I quit even though I would smoke a cig three times a month. But now I have totally lost any desire to smoke, even when I try it tastes horrible.

Every time I wanted to smoke I would play Loco Roco. I think I rewired the "reward" neural pathway from nicotine rush to the rush I would get every time I heard "bllloooooble-dee-oop", or found a hidden room.

I believe my health insurance company should pay for all my games and PSP, and DS, and Wii, and now the PS3 I wanna get. Yeah...gaming has kind of become an issue in my household (where I am the 42 yo mom). I remember when I go my first brick gameboy back in the early 90's, I honestly believed it could cure crack addicition (not mine)...but I really needed better graphics to quit smoking.

BTW-there toys are well made and fun to play with and that bunny (looked like a bunny to me too!) is way cool and worthy of a design award.

also-when discussing what white people like with my white mom she said that when reading a newspaper reg. the blog site that it did not state what ethnicity one writer was, and that the other was half filipino and she did not know what the other half was.

I had to tell, her like the box for the white family, when race is not stated, white is always the default. Therein lies the problem, if unstated ethnicity defaults to white, then entitlement is inherently reinforced. Ahhhh, capitalism!

I was at toys-r-us 15 years ago with my boss, a choctaw woman who was the director of the planned parenthood clinic where I worked. We were buying gifts for our co-workers' (mainly latino-I am of mixed Pacific Islander descent) children.

We wanted to buy playskool family doll sets but noticed that the white families had two children and a dog, the brown families had three children and no dog! We flew into a rage-what they thought we were non-contracepting sex freaks who ate our dog out of poverty or cultural culinary preference?

So we started re-mixing the packages-
white mommies w/ brown daddies, and the reverse
brown families w/white babies, and the reverse
two mommies and a dog,
two daddies and brown children

this more approximates the neighborhood I live in.
However, I see more of the white mommy and daddy w/ two white children and a dog moving in every day...and as the resultant housing and rent prices go up, all I have to say is, "there goes the neighborhood".

I am very sorry. But, just like NPR's Young America interview with the Upright Citizen's Brigade and some improv'd improv (where the host of the show kept cutting in with the statement that this was NOT pre-written dialogue BUT improv)....this is just not funny...to me. Yes, the Simpsons are funny, just not the samplings from this zine.
