Three CF cards, one SATA adapter

make sure if you install windows on one of these things you have plenty of ram, and kill your page file. Paging a CF card will destroy it. Pretty much all CF cards have a certain number of time they can initiate a R/W cycle, and once that number is reached, so is their end. As the first poster said go with linux if you can, or just turn off the paging.

Netflix and HD: a DRM disaster that costs you your videos and control of your hardware
January 3, 2008 5:27am
quick fix for this. Don't use windows Media center edition, or at least read the thousands of posts throughout the internet about HD DRM restrictions that occur with MCE and Vista before looking surprised when it doesn't work. I currently have my HDTV hooked up at 1080i on an ATI HD2600/dvi-hdmi running anything I want including netflix and amazon, no problems. The key is I'm using XP Pro.

I actually did this with a book a couple of months ago. My wife wanted something a little nicer looking for the spare laptop drive i had. So I yoinked the hardware out of a $.99 enclosure on ebay($10 shipping of course), and put it in a copy of "letters from the earth" by mark twain.
