My wife just said, "TSA probably misplaced the laptop when it got hidden under their huge NO FLY notebook."

My wife is pretty damn smart.

Hey, the D-Bs were also co-founded by Phil Kline, who's famous (in my book, anyway) for Unsilent Night, the huge free boombox concert held every holiday season in major cities around the world.

Accounts of trying to gets bats out of house

October 3, 2007 12:15pm

What a coincidence this got posted today -- I literally had a bat in my house LAST NIGHT! oooooWEEEEEEooooo....

I got it out by cordoning it off in a bedroom, opening the window, and letting it fly away.

My cat was VERY interested in the whole process.

This has happened before:

Will San Francisco get public WiFi after all?

September 4, 2007 12:46pm

I've been a customer of Sonic.net for six years, and they are hands-down the BEST ISP I've ever had. I lived in SF for years and went through TLG, Earthlink, and a bunch of others. Sonic runs their systems flawlessly, cheaply, and with great (LIVE) tech support. Too bad they're based in Santa Rosa, which sucks, but that hasn't affected the quality of their service. Go guys!
