Yesterday, i walked into a sexshop to buy a big toy for my friend.

If the shop and street had been rigged with police surveillance CCTV cams, and watched by nozy kids, i don't think i would have walked in, or come out of there with that huge bag without a heavy hood over my head, making me look way badder than i already do.

Before being called "mash-ups" (edited with multi-track software or lego-style music making machines like Ableton Live from mp3's) it was just plain, old, hands-on, beat-matching vinyls on the wheels of steel..or making mix-tapes..It now seems like a lost art. I must be getting old.

"tracer" or "traceur" is just another word for running and runner in Parisian argot.

There was an effort to make parkour into this new martial-arts type sport, some tried to brand it "yamakazi" (mountain wind), but since there is no possibility to sell accessories related to it (like skiing or parachute jumping, or scrapbooking), other than good shoes, or the trademark backpack, no one jumped in other than pennyless ghetto kids, who did it just for the thrill.

in the end it's just an obstacle course using urban terrain.

I like the idea though of not touching the ground, but frantically replacing "c" with "k" is so '97.

The money needed to remove land-mines is so astronomical, it's a money pit. Why not start with putting pressure on the people that still produce, sell and use land-mines instead. Or use the money to buy artificial limbs. Or education about land-mines, etc.......

I would feel so empty if i was defined by my pattern of consumption.

Say i get an order for 10 000 Pravda hand-bags. I make 50 000 using the available workforce (just 6 hours more on the shift for the workers)...deliver the 10 000 to the customer. Keep the rest for myself, which i sell underground (internationally, not just under the bridge in beijing) at a fraction of the price it will be sold on "high street"; Same product.
Only, suckers will buy the brand at a ridiculously superior price than what it's worth (worthless).

Like Nike for example.....why does it cost 14$ to make them, and we buy it here at 170$, hmmmm. shipping?

correct me if i am wrong, but glucose found in fruits and that found in other foods is processed differently by the body. One is fast burning like that in chocolate bars, soda, etc....Fruit glucose is slowly consumed by the organism, not having the same impact at all on the pancreas and spleen....you can't get diabetes from eating too much fruit.

Also, about the salad dressing, forget that ready-made store bought crap full of unhealthy stuff like hydrogenated oils and such as...just whip-up Dijon mustard (ok, there's some vinegar in there...), fresh squeezed lemon juice or balsamic vinegar, and last, olive oil, and you have a nice creamy vinaigrette... don't forget to put the olive oil in last, as it acts as the emulsifier...
