Unspoken is the fact that if and when something DOES go wrong with the Apple car, our smug looking owner is now locked out of an impenetrable and amorphous engine block, the inner workings of which are as mysterious as the stars to him (for he has never looked, that would be for dirty plebs). Considering I use onions for their flavor, I am not that concerned about the tears. My main concern is how these tear free onions would taste, what kind of onion they are, etc.

I agree with most of the other posters. I would consider being pulled over for anything other than a violation of the law harrassment and a gift card would not change that. This might be different if cops in my city were mandated to be keepers of the peace, interested in being as friendly and force averse as possible. Instead, cops in my city are infused with federal money and military equipment, and are on a mandate to be strict punishers of crime and not to be disobeyed for any reason.

If they want to reward good driving, hire less cops and charge less in taxes.

This is silly. Of course it looks like a germ culture; so does any company that starts out as a regional retail outlet that expands outward to eventually become a national one. So would any naturally occuring population growth.
