Seamless ice-spheres for superior whiskey-rocks

Thank you EthylCannes. I consider myself a pretty devout Scotch drinker and I love it in all manner of ways. I am annoyed by some idiot trying to spout to me that there is only "one way" to properly enjoy it.
Do I like it neat? Yes.
Do I like it with a dash of water? Yes.
Do I like it with ice? Yes.
It all depends on my mood and the scotch. There is nothing wrong to enjoying a drink the way you want to.

Yah, MegaMAN shouldn't be on there either. Guy in robotic suit doesn't equate Robot to me.
By that thinking the Dalek shouldn't be on there either.
But cool shirt. Totally must own.

David B,
How exactly is a Blue Ray players ability to upscale a normal DVD less superior than an HD DVD player?
No downloadable update? Depends on the player.
PIP? Gimmick. Not that big of a deal.
Sony's propietary? You do know that Sony is only one member of the BDA right?
Screw Blue Ray all you want. Have fun wasting time and bandwidth on HD downloads.

Just an FYI, this is not the first time this video has been used like this. First time I saw it was re-subtitled showing Hitler losing his XBOX live account for having a modded xbox. Equally hilarious.

xkcd on the writer's strike: I miss Jon Stewart
December 21, 2007 11:16am
Dave X, even if the strike is solved today with a happy agreement for the writers, you can be guaranteed at this point we wont be getting all of Season 4 of BSG this year.
We are slated to get the first half starting at the end of March. Writing (let alone the production and post work on the rest of the episodes) is not done yet for everthing. Pretty much you can expect to see the end of Galactica in 2009.

HOWTO make a stove-top tin-can popcorn popper
November 16, 2007 8:27am
Got you one better. Learned this from Alton Brown.
1 brown paper lunch sack
1/3 cup of corn
2 staples
Place corn in bag. Fold over top of bag twice 1/4 inch thick. Staple* bag shut at ends.
Microwave for 2+ minutes (my unit take 2:07 to pop properly.)
Remove from bag, apply seasoning. Enjoy.
*Now you might be saying, "Staples? Isn't that metal in a microwave?" Sure, but the metal is small enough that nothing bad can happen. Although in a pinch i've been known to do the cut/fold in opposite direction method instead of staples and it works fine.

Interview with Ridley Scott, Blade Runner: The Final Cut
September 27, 2007 1:23pm
Mikelotus, I suggest you read the book that I and White Noise suggested. You might just be actually suprised about the creation of the voice over track. It existed far before the work print and your supposed "forced by the studio" falsehood.
Interview with Ridley Scott, Blade Runner: The Final Cut
September 27, 2007 12:59pm
You will get no argument from me on the ending (I too prefer the voice over) but will stand by my feeling that Deckard needs to be human and not a replicant but question his own existence through the film. And I never said it was about the nature of reality. The real and isnt I was referring to was the replicant/human idea.
Interview with Ridley Scott, Blade Runner: The Final Cut
September 27, 2007 12:43pm
I am going to have to disagree with your Buddy66. Making Deckard a replicant destroys the message of the film IMO. Leaving it ambiguous is the way it should be. Deckard has to figure out for himself what is real and what isn't.
Interview with Ridley Scott, Blade Runner: The Final Cut

supposedly Dculberson, this is the final FINAL never again touch it cut. Ridley is supposedly fully happy with this one (seeing is he didn't actually make the 92 Directors Cut I guess this one is his real DC)
Interview with Ridley Scott, Blade Runner: The Final Cut
September 27, 2007 11:29am
Oh Ridley, will you ever stop contradicting the truth?
For those interested about all of the torrid details about the making of the film, I highly recommend reading "Future Noir" by Paul M. Sammon for a in depth look at everything that went on (and an official word on the whole is Deckard a replicant or not debate)
@#1-Phasor3000, at least in this upcoming release of Blade Runner we are getting ALL versions of the film released to us and not just a revised view that tarnishes an original classic.

My father last year went on a scotch tasting tour in Scotland. At the Glenfiddich distillery he was served a scotch with ice.
