Honestly, what would be the point in altering a picture to look like this? The picture we're all looking at is far from a photographic masterpiece, with our without manipulation. It's a candid shot of Phil and Tiger on the course.

@CinemaJay -- to me, Occam's Razor would suggest that this is a candid shot that just happens to look like whatever it looks like, and not a deliberate anything at all.

How does this method do anything except maybe identify at what theater the piracy was accomplished?

Like others have said, it seems much more effective to drive away paying customers than to thwart piracy.
