Judging from a cursory Google search, it's running a Java interface on top of Linux. I'm surprised they're making a follow-up to the original flop. Hopefully this model won't combine iTunes lock-in with a terrible interface.

Yes, I know EQ settings are available on a per-song basis from within iTunes, but that's horribly tedious and obviously doesn't scale well between earbuds and speakers.

I imagine the wrong side of these would be touched far too often, but it's a good start.
