Happy Mutant Profile

John Hudgens

7-year-old boy removed from father and placed in state custody over mistaken order of hard lemondade

Speaking of bottles, people are saying that the professor should have seen the "premium malt beverage" line on the bottle - quick Google image search on "Mike's Hard Lemonade bottle" brought back stuff like this:
Mike's Hard Lemonade bottle
Mike's Hard Lemonade bottle
Mike's Hard Lemonade bottle
Mike's Hard Lemonade bottle

I'm not seeing any plain references to "premium malt beverage" on the label... if I didn't know what the stuff really was, at a cursory glance (after ordering lemonade) I can easily see someone accepting this as lemonade...

That was cute, but you really should spotlight the works of Mike Jittlov, or the team of Chuck Menville and Len Janson...

Fluxx -- Nomic card game

January 29, 2008 8:11am

Fluxx is one of the most evil games around.

Mind you, this is a GOOD thing...

I love this game and have played it for years. I've had games last four hours, and games won in one minute. They just recently released a new version called "Zombie Fluxx" which we haven't played yet, but hopefully will have the gang togther for this weekend.

I still have and wear a Casio DBC150 watch, although it's not the original model I got almost 20 years ago - I think I'm on my third, as the buttons do get worn down and unreadable over time... it's very convenient in those times I forget my cellphone, or need numbers I don't call regularly that I've not saved in the cellphone...

Thought balloon in the real world

There was a guy running around at DragonCon this year with something similar - he'd mounted his thought balloon on a stick so he could stick it into other people's pictures... like so: http://www.zteamproductions.com/images/PluckHer.jpg

Just wanted to chime in here - I just got one of the maps delivered from Jon, and this thing is absolutely phenomenal in person... *definitely* worth the money!
