Personally, I use $1 bills for bookmarks. Not only are these cheaper than the ones sold in stores, but when I finish a book (a challenge for someone as highly distractable/novelty-seeky as myself), I get to have the dollar back.

How long did this sculpture stay on display? If you've ever kept an inflated latex balloon around the house for more than a few days, you've probably noticed that the air leaks out very slowly until it shrinks into a rubbery prune. Is there some sort of spray sealant that can keep a balloon airtight for large/long-term constructions like this? On the other hand, a slowly-shriveling panzer would be a sight to see...

Speaking as an inveterate watch-wearer who is constantly surrounded by non-watch-wearing layabouts (who paradoxically always want to know what time it is) the notion of being able to tell people the time by making an exaggerated "jerk-off" motion with my arm is pure comedy gold.
