Can anyone find more details on where these graves are? I can't find anything on http://www.findagrave.com/ for any of these. I'm just wondering if they are real or made up. If anyone can find photographs of the actual graves that would be great. Google just seems to be showing me other references to this book. I know I'm being lazy, but I don't live near any of the places mentioned in the scans.

I'd like to think that we wouldn't all have to turn into "animals fighting for survival." I'd like to try putting off turning into Gollum from LotR as long as possible if I could.

Plus the fact remains that 90% of the time stuff in a survival kit would not be used when waiting for the mutant bears to regroup, but more like the power being out long enough for the stuff in the fridge to spoil. I'm hardly wont to revert into a beast just because PG&E can't get their act together.

Beyond that, most people buy stuff for their emergency kits before they have reverted to manimals. I'm sure most people here (including vegan me) would resort to cannibalism if all else failed, but I'm hardly going to stock my kit with 'long pig' and 'hairless goat.'

And I bet most of us don't even have a emergency stockpile. If this helps, it can't be too bad, can it?

What really needs to happen is for airports to add another ramp for each gate: One for the front of the plane and another for the back. Loading and unloading would be more than twice as fast (no more waiting for that guy who waits until everyone in front is off the plane before blocking the aisle and starting to get ready to go.). Less fuel would be wasted idling at the gate as well.

That and maybe some sort of hybrid engine that took waste heat from the jets to power plane on the ground or something....
