News At Seven / Gangs of India

October 23, 2007 7:08pm

@Pat Race: News at the Uncanny Vally. The tone of voice was off, but they're really teetering at the edge for me too.

But Xeni was pretty funny in this one. And pretty in all. Geek crush... One quick question, Xeni. Is it creepy to have hundreds (thousands?) of geeks and nerds fawning over you?

Tanks-A-Lot/Mark's Vibrobot

Thanks, Xeni! I really love BBTV so far, and it feels like a natural extension from the real blog, with the fun stories and the serious ones, the "How-to"s, and the interviews. It all fits together well.

Gabe & Max: now YOU can ask them how to get the Dream Life of YOUR Dreams.

What are these RSS feeds, and what do they have to do with food? Do you have to feed them? Do they feed you? I don't understand!

Who was it that stormed off after Xeni's pun?

Coffee Hacks With Mark/Foxie Moxie

Cheeken, I don't know the name of the song, but I do know that it was used for Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof. The soundtrack is available pretty much anywhere worth shopping. So you won't see it at Wal-Mart! I checked, it wasn't there.

Mark's Motor/EcoNouveau Fashion

Damn you, Xeni! I was hoping that stopsilkwormgenocide.com was going to be a real website. I am now very disappointed.

Opposite of the "loud ads" problem, Mark's (totally awesome) segment is a bit louder than the rest of the show. Great episode, though! I love the "How-to"s and the interviews. I've always wanted to build one of those motors, but never got around to it. Time for me to search for wire.

Educational TV parody: Look Around You

I've always loved these, ever since my friend introduced them to me, along with Darkplace and Spaced. And the fact that that was Edgar Wright with the second experiment made me happy.

No friends yet.
