A superb notion, and one I dearly hope sees much more widespread adoption sooner rather than later. No paper = no printing, distribution, or mailing costs, only bandwidth fees = cheaper comics, or more money for the creators and publishers. I'd sooner pay the people responsible for the title than printers and drivers. (No offense to printers and drivers)

If the motivation's offsetting the bandwidth costs, wouldn't it have been simpler just to let archive.org or Coral take care of the heavy lifting? Seems like a more complex solution than necessary.
