I've got to second the recommendation for 1,000 blank white cards for a "true" card-Calvinball. That's one of the most fun games I've played.

Apples to Apples is another fun party game along Fluxx and 1k BWC lines-- like 1k BWC, it changes dramatically when different groups of people are playing, which I think is a good sign.

There's no high strategy in it, but few games make me laugh as much as Fluxx does. I did try to play it with my parents once and it went pretty slow-- I think it's one of those games that works better with fluid than with crystallized intelligence, but your mileage may vary.

I've always been kind of obsessed with the idea of a 3-d virtual reality tetris were the bricks fall on you so you have the extra challenge of not killing yourself by dropping the bricks on you.

I was thinking recently about finding the most ridiculously boring thing possible, taking it to a poetry slam, and performing it for 3 minutes. This document might work.

The Women Studies department at my college (University of New Mexico) has been getting rid of enormous piles of Mary Daly books lately. I guess that's the WS equivalent of Future Shock.

I hope this sticks around. There's precious little scifi related stuff going on in this gigantic state of mine.

My first thought when I saw this was that it was one of those sorta snazzy looking vibrators that looks more like a sculpture than a sex toy. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed.

There are a ton of other substantial fiction podcasts out there. Look up JC Hutchins, Scott Sigler, and Mur Lafferty for the stuff they've published in podcast form. Doctorow's put a lot of his stuff up too (I'm listening to Eastern Standard Tribe now).

I'd like to see where Disney would fit in here.
