You should get a JetBoil stove with a 1 liter cup. It's the size of a Nalgene bottle, lightweight, perfect for feeding one person from, easy to start, boils water in just a few minutes, and fuel and other supplies fit inside it (I like to put my fuel in a ziplock bag before putting it in the cup because I'm paranoid like that). It's so quick and easy to use, I never camp without mine anymore!

And don't forget a map and compass. GPS is awesome, but the map & compass will always be your best friends.
