This is quite a clever short. I love the rapid pace of increasing absurdities; that's something you don't see anymore except in Mad, a magazine that stays true to its heritage.

In retrospect, The Wind Waker DID manage to evoke an epic atmosphere within its cartoon style, and that does not go against the grain of what Robert Reed says; visual style does not necessarily dictate storytelling style. Miyazaki's films demonstrate this with great potency.
